Kuan Kung Machinery Corp.--Automotive liner kits, racing-car cylinders, and outboard engine sleeves.
The Kuan Kung Machinery Corp. is an experienced manufacturer of automotive engine replacement parts in Taiwan that offers OE-quality liner kits including liners, pistons, piston rings, piston pins, bushings, and clips. It acquired ISO 9001:2000 and SGS certification in 2003.
The company has more than 25 years of experience in making heavy- and extra-heavy-duty liner kits for trucks, trailers, buses, ships, and construction machinery, using Japanese RIK, NPR and TP piston rings, most of which are supplied to Komatsu, Caterpillar, and Cummins. Liner kits for light-duty engines are also available.
Kuan Kung has developed a wide range of cast-iron pistons that meet Komatsu specifications and are made of the same materials as those used in the originals, thus assuring OE quality but allowing reasonable prices for optimal price-to-quality ratio. Making engine sleeves for personal water craft and other marine applications is another Kuan Kung forte, and the products are highly regarded by world-known brands such as Yamaha, Suzuki, and OMC.
The thin-walled sleeves are made of imported, seamless steel so that they are impact-resistant, with NC-machined windows on the walls to make them suitable for two-stroke engines such as those bearing the Sea-Doo, Yamaha, Kawasaki, and Tigershark brands. The company welcomes custom samples for production.
Using production facilities equipped with CNC and automated machine tools including internal drilling machines and honing machines from the US and Japan, as well as ultrasonic cleaners, Kuan Kung also makes air-cooled cylinders for racing cars and generators. One of the customers for these products is Volkswagen.
